How does the free 15-day trial work?
We set up a separate secure hospital account for your care management team, load up to 20 discharged patients, and let them test the check-in loop for 15 days. No contract is signed, and you keep all the data generated.
Does Dischargo require Integration with our EHR (Epic/Cerner)?
No. You can start immediately via CSV discharge spreadsheet uploads or manual entry — that's how every hospital gets started today. Direct Epic/Cerner integration isn't built yet; if it's a requirement for your rollout, talk to us and we'll scope it with you.
Is Dischargo HIPAA Compliant?
HIPAA compliance is a shared responsibility, formalized through a signed Business Associate Agreement — we have one ready for review as part of your security process, not something we claim unilaterally. Can family members see the replies?
On the Growth plan and above, family members do not need to log in to an app. When a patient triggers a HIGH risk alert (e.g. weight gain or missed medication), Dischargo auto-sends a notification to their registered contact: 'Robert's care team has been notified. You may want to check in.'
